On 24 March in the city of Santander, an informative meeting was held for the Cantabrian business sector and organised by SODERCAR, Society for the Regional Development of Cantabria, in collaboration with the Regional Trade Department of ICEX and the Food Quality Office. There was discussion of the possibility of accessing markets where Muslims are a majority through Certification issued by the Halal Institute, a distinction already held by five companies in the region.
