The Spanish-Arabic Intercultural Circle (CIHAR) has agreed through its Board of Directors to award the CIHAR Gold Medal 2022 in the category of individuals to Ms. Mª Isabel Romero Arias, General Director of Instituto Halal.
Through these awards, the entity annually recognises those people or entities that have favoured and worked in favour of culture, peaceful coexistence, dialogue, social development, respect for human rights and interculturality.
Thus, this recognition values a trajectory where the great work carried out by our Director General has revalued the importance of our Andalusian heritage, making this legacy a structuring element of coexistence and socio-cultural and scientific progress. The medals will be awarded on 13 June at 6:30 p.m. in the Ambassadors’ Hall of Casa Árabe – Madrid.
