The General Director of the Halal Institute, Isabel Romero, together with the Mayor of Cordoba, Isabel Ambrosio, have announced the new image of the Cluster Halal Cordoba inspired by an exterior wall of the Mosque-Cathedral of the city.

Córdoba, May 24, 2017. Isabel Romero, during the ceremony that took place yesterday, wanted to highlight the «new advance» in the development of this international project. He also praised the design made by Defábrica: «The logo has several advantages, as it is rooted in tradition, modern, not translated and universal.» Romero said that «it serves to project the image of Córdoba and the Spanish industry within the halal market»

For its part, the first, Isabel Ambrosio said that this logo is a tool «to better identify the products and services that are grouped in the cluster.» He agreed with Romero that this presentation is «one more step to put an image on the implementation of one of the most exciting projects in which we work in the government team since it can make the city the economic and tourist reference in the Muslim world.»

The cluster began its journey at the beginning of last March through the Institute of Economic Development and Employment, a group that seeks to boost the halal market in Cordoba; Integrated by the University of Córdoba, Mercacórdoba and the Agrópolis Foundation next to the Halal Institute. At the moment it is in the development phase of the strategic plan. The final objective is to create a business park for certification of halal products in which a thousand companies are already interested. The constituent assembly of the Cluster Halal Cordoba is scheduled to be held on June 22.
