On Monday 24 July, our Director General Muhammad Escudero met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Spain, H.E. Dr. Muhammad Najib, in a key institutional meeting.
During this fruitful meeting, the desire to continue collaborating in agreements and actions that benefit both countries and the Muslim community in Spain was reaffirmed.
Among the topics discussed, the Halal Institute intends to establish collaboration agreements with fairs in the halal sector held in Indonesia, seeking to strengthen trade ties and the positioning of Spanish companies in the Southeast Asian country.
In addition, we have extended a cordial invitation to the Ambassador to visit our headquarters in Cordoba during the month of September, together with a delegation from an Islamic university.

We will continue to work to strengthen the ties between Spain and Indonesia, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding.
